Building on our long term partnership with Pharmacy Complete we were briefed with helping the team redesign and develop their website to refresh and update the look and feel, enhance user experience and add new functionality. The brief included making the site easier to find, content easier to manage and introduce enhance e-commerce and e-learning functionality. Developing the site to increase operational efficiency and reduce administrative tasks was also a consideration.
Having worked closely with the team for some years and armed with the blueprint for the original website we carried out in depth research into the objectives for the new site and what Pharmacy Complete wanted to be able to do with it. Following development of a functional specification and a sitemap initial designs were prepared with some brand new centrepiece images that fit snuggly into the brand identity. An evolutionary approach was taken with text which was already of a very high standard.
A smooth new e-commerce experience was created enabling the team to update their products and possession their products at the premium end of the pharmacy training market. E-mail marketing has been built into the site to enable the team to collect details of current and future customers. Content has been search engine optimised to enhance search engine rankings.
An integrated e-learning platform is under-development and due to launch in Summer 2018.
