Steve Jeffers, Chief Executive Officer, the Hub pharmacy
As our longest standing client, it was really pleasing to be invited back to redesign and refresh the company’s website, three years after launch of the site we built for them first time round. Web development moves fast and visual trends change, so two to three years is around the time a well built site might last. Some may last longer, some less time depending on all sorts of factors. Informed by years of data about how visitors were using the original site we set to work redesigning a site fit for the future.
A key objective with the new site was to create a smoother prescription ordering process which smoothed or removed friction points, stored drug data and patient data to allow easy reordering month by month. Changes to policy preventing pharmacy re-ordering of prescriptions added an additional layer of complexity with some pharmacies being able to order and others not.
Refreshing the visual look and enhancing the clean, clinical, yet approachable aesthetic while positioning the brand as a central point in the communities it served were important considerations. Enabling work to enhance search engine rankings and customer data capture were essential improvements made to the original site, which has already proven its worth. With the in house team now looking after content it will be exciting to see what they do with their new vehicle.
